The tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) has the following important functions:

Safety guarantee
- Prevent tire blowouts: Abnormally high or low tire pressure is one of the main causes of tire blowouts. When the tire pressure is too low, the tire will deform excessively during driving, causing the temperature inside the tire to rise rapidly, the strength of the rubber material to decrease, and eventually leading to a tire blowout. The tire pressure monitoring system can monitor the tire pressure in real - time and promptly alert the driver to take measures, such as inflating or deflating the tires, when the pressure is below or above the set safety range, thus effectively reducing the risk of tire blowouts.
- Enhance vehicle handling stability: Appropriate tire pressure is crucial for vehicle handling. Extend tire service life
- When the tire is driven with abnormal pressure, the wear of the tire will accelerate. The tire pressure monitoring system helps to keep the tire pressure normal, making the tire wear more evenly, thereby extending the service life of the tire and saving the owner the cost of replacing tires.

Improve fuel economy
- When the tire pressure is insufficient, the rolling resistance of the tire during vehicle driving will increase. This means that the engine needs to output more power to propel the vehicle forward, resulting in an increase in fuel consumption. According to statistics, if the tire pressure is 10% lower than the standard value, fuel consumption may increase by 2% - 3%.
