Product Description

This product uses ultrasound to distinguish the material category based on the difference in echo intensity generated by different materials. It is particularly suitable for applications such as floor cleaning robots that require the detection of ground materials. The robotic vacuum cleaner can obtain ground material information through this module, and then switch cleaning modes to achieve intelligent cleaning.

Application Scenario

Note:
The unevenness of hard material floors and excessive gaps in floor laying may result in the detection of soft materials instead of hard materials. Therefore, it is not recommended to use it in complex outdoor conditions. To enhance reliability, it is recommended to cooperate with the motion detection of the sweeping robot, and use multiple detection results within a certain range to assist in judgment,which can avoid other conditions affecting the detection. The module does not support hot plugging.
